This collection is a design exploration through bookmaking. I designed three different books, using the same page dimensions and typeface, but approached each with specific ideas regarding the use of typography and imagery. A Fair Day for Fair Trade primarily uses text. The Elements of Juggling is image-dominant, with limited typography. And Golden Sunflowers: A visual itinerary of Italian travel employs type and imagery equally. I hand-bound each book using the Coptic binding technique.
